Conference Issue

I appreciate the ability to see all of the conferences and to see the teams in each conference. However, I think that conference initials should be unique to each conference. I don't think it would be any fun to see 7 conferences call the ACC and 5 conferences called SEC, etc... There are 18,278 possible conference initials using only 1, 2, or 3 letter combinations. 

I created Conference USA with a blue USA with red outline. I just noticed a conference called MAGA who has the SAME EXACT USA logo. It just kind of annoyed me. 

Maybe you could change it to "up to 4 characters" instead of only 3 but then put in an error message if there is a repeat. 

Anyway, I suppose it sounds like I am venting over something stupid, but I just figured I'd mention it.

Yep - we totally understand and wish we could have done more for this.  Like you pointed out, with only 3 characters there's a limited number of possibilities and we didn't want to make it so that after the first few conferences were created everyone else would be relegated to using bizarre combinations like ZQY.  

Eventually we'd like to add the ability to customize (and edit) conferences more - specifically - choosing a circle backdrop, square background, or shield and possibly allowing multiple fonts.  That would provide a lot more customization so you could be more unique.  Adding this ability is not a top priority right now, but I wanted to let you know that we'd like to add that capability eventually.
